Anthony Vanky is a project director, strategist, and researcher at the MIT SENSEable City Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His lecture will discuss how the ubiquity of digital devices and the telecommunication networks that augment our cities are impacting urban living. The lab is a multidisciplinary research group that studies the interface between cities, people, and technologies.
Vanky holds degrees from MIT and Tulane University. He trained as an urban designer and architect, and has worked on projects across the U.S. His design work has been exhibited at the Venice Architectural Biennale, the Dutch Design
Week, Gwangju Design Biennale, and New Orleans DesCours.
